NearBG is a free, browser-based background-removal tool: drop a photo and an on-device ML segmentation model (U2Netp) cuts out the background — entirely inside your browser. Every operation runs on your own device — your photos are never uploaded to a server.
There is no account, no sign-up, and no photo storage. The site is static; a strict Content-Security-Policy technically blocks it from sending your photo data anywhere.
NearBG is the background-removal companion to NearIMG (image tools). Both are built on the same principle: your files stay near you.
